Imagine living with a constant debilitating cough and shortness of breath. For Glenna Miller, this nightmare has been a reality for many years. Glenna has COPD — chronic obstructive pulmonary disease — a condition that has no known cure, and is on the rise in Manitoba.
But Glenna found hope at Deer Lodge Centre’s Regional Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program. After working with a physiotherapist, social worker, dietician, pharmacist and respiratory therapist, she can finally breathe again — and enjoy more out of life than she ever thought possible.
Thank you CTV Manitoba for visiting us and sharing Glenna’s story!
