Getaway Club

CTV Winnipeg recently paid a lively visit to our Getaway Club, which provides a place to hang out and connect for people living with mild to moderate dementia. Each weekday, clients of the club gather for fun and games, exercise, and snacks. The Club helps some members get out of their homes and overcome their social isolation. And as you’ll see in the video below, the club also gives caregivers and families a break — and a huge relief knowing their loved-ones are in safe hands.
