After surviving a debilitating stroke, Sandra Bottle was told her chances of recovery weren’t good. But now, five years after moving into Deer Lodge Centre for chronic care, this spirited 77-year-old is active, independent, and keeping her friends and family on their toes.
Thank you CTV Winnipeg for visiting Sandra and her family and sharing her story!
Deer Lodge Centre’s Chronic Care programs help people who need long-term professional intervention and/or medical supervision. Sandra benefitted from the support of a physiotherapist, occupational therapist, dietician, and speech/language pathologist. Find out more about Chronic Care →
