The Ron Paley Big Band

Dust Off Your Dancing Shoes for the Event of the Year! 1Ron Paley is a Winnipeg Legend. You’ve been missing out if you haven’t experienced Ron and his big band live! Ron rose to prominence on the local music scene as a composer, arranger, and leader of big bands and small ensembles. He is a perennial act at the Jazz Winnipeg festival (either with the Ron Paley Big Band or in small ensembles) and has performed in concert with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet

The Ron Paley Big Band was formed in 1976, and has since performed numerous jazz concerts and dances, appeared at Expo 86 as part of a western Canadian tour, and travelled widely in Manitoba. We cannot wait to dance all night with Ron and his incredible ensemble of musicians!

Ron’s Big Band at Dance Hall will include 25 talented musicians on hand to fill the space with music. Horns, percussionists, vocalists, and you name it will ensure this is one night of music that you won’t forget!
